Neil Greer, CEO

Neil Greer

Neil Greer has founded and led rich media companies in the Online Display Advertising industry since 1994. He is a Co-founder of Impact Engine, Inc. Prior to Impact Engine, Neil was CEO and founder of V2Commerce; a venture backed San Diego company that provided hosted solutions for tying leads from online display ads into any relational database without assistance from a programmer. Prior to V2Commerce, Neil was CEO and founder of VCC Interactive a San Diego based interactive agency specializing in helping Fortune 500 clients bring their brands online. Neil grew the agency to over 150 clients in less than 18 months including AOL, Hewlett Packard and Costco. Neil is actively involved in the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) and participates on the Search and Local Committees. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of San Diego and an MBA from the Entrepreneurial Management Center at San Diego State University. Based on his own online advertising success, he has been noted by NBC, CNNfn.com, Google, Investors Business Daily and Marketing Sherpa as an expert on how to attain high ROI from online advertising campaigns.

Bryan Depew, VP Product Development

Bryan Depew

Bryan Depew started his career in online advertising by co-founding Impact Engine, Inc. in 2000. Bryan is part of the team that arranged the initial and ongoing equity financing for the business. He is instrumental in several key areas of the business including product development, client management and business development. His work on Impact Engine’s first product, Presentation Engine, resulted in the rapid growth Impact Engine’s client base to over 5,000 paying clients including many Fortune 500 firms. Prior to Impact Engine, Bryan served as head of the land division in San Diego for Grubb and Ellis. Bryan has a Bachelors degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University.

Alex Zubko, VP Engineering

Alex Zubko

Alex Zubko has been deeply involved with web delivered multimedia since early in its inception. Prior to Impact Engine from 1999-2002, Alex was a lead developer at PurchasePro.com and was instrumental in every facit building complex, Flash based rich media applications that integrated with enterprise level software applications. Prior to PurchasePro from 1997-1999, Alex co-founded and operated an independent software development agency named CRS, Inc. specializing in the development of some of the earliest rich media based applications found on the web. Prior to opening his software development firm, Alex worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Matrix Services, Inc.; a construction engineering services firm. After studying Mechanical Engineering at California Polytechnic University Pomona, Alex left the degree program early to pursue the Matrix Services opportunity and did not return to complete his degree program; opting rather in 1997 to apply his self-taught software engineering skills to the emerging web industry.

Marcus Alday, VP Software Engineering

Marcus Alday

Marcus Alday is an experienced software architect with 12 years experience building complex web based applications. He has expert knowledge in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP/Servlet, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, PHP, ASP, Perl, Python, SQL Server 2000, Oracle 8i, Sybase 11.9.2, AJAX, HTML, Javascript, Unix sh, csh, bash shell scripting, Flash Remoting, XML, UML and Windows/Linux/Solaris/BSD System Administration. Prior to Impact Engine from 1999-2002, Marcus worked as the Lead Software Engineer for V2Commerce where he built the company's award winning application service from the ground up. Designed an implemented a web based CRM application. This application was able to take unstructured form data from online display ads and search engines, and automatically convert it into searchable data within any relational database. This application won the Microsoft Office XP Regional Championship and garnered 38,000 clients less than 60 days after product release. Prior to V2Commerce from 1996-1999, Marcus worked as a Network Engineer for NTT/Verio Communications maintaining and troubleshooting T1 and Frame Relay circuits.
